At a very young age I had a knack for understanding the body and a gift for using my touch. I could feel where the body held tension and how to quell that tension with my own hands.

I was fascinated with the body and leaned into understanding health my whole life.

As a child I would play health food store and lead pretend classes on how to use your body. As an adult I became a professional dancer to better know and feel my own body. I loved nature and all that nature could provide us with. I was attracted to natural ways of healing and natural supplements. And as a grown woman I caught on quickly to physics and psychology, neuroplasticity and epigenetics.

After a career in dance I found my own body was very out of balance. My body was in chronic pain. I had low back herniations, crippling nerve pain in my right leg, a bum knee, an achy hip and tension from head to toe. This is when I decided to change my career, I dedicated my practice to Pilates, at the age of 25. I didn’t realize it, but the career I was choosing was going to teach me everything and more about embodiment as I know it today.
